Based at Chatham Place, where we offer a fine dining experience like no other. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and exquisite cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds. In addition to our on-site restaurant, we also specialize in catering for corporate and private events. Whether you’re hosting a business meeting, a wedding, or a special celebration.
Along with our dine in experience we offer a healthy eating food delivery service that you can heat up within 2-3 minutes, this is delivered on Mondays and Thursdays with orders collected 10am the day before delivery.
Our sister company Only Fools go Hungry! Offer a street food experience like no other, that is available for weddings, larger garden parties, and special events. We also have regular pop up at locations in and around Birmingham.
Meet the owner and founder of Bistro B31 – Clinton Smith
The BistroB31 brand wasn’t built overnight. It was forged over two decades of passion, precision, and a relentless love for food that took its founder across the globe and through some of the planet’s most extraordinary kitchens.
Some of these included the US Open in New York, the Asian Games in Qatar and Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi. After climbing the ranks to Head Chef in Birmingham’s finest restaurants, he made a bold move to take his craft to the world stage – spending over 10 years cooking at some of the most prestigious sporting events imaginable, from the US Open and Formula 1 to Wimbledon, the Cheltenham Festival and Goodwood. Along the way, he worked shoulder to shoulder with industry greats, including the iconic Roux family and Tom Atkins.
Founded in 2020, BistroB31 was due to open in Longbridge Town Centre, but Covid had other ideas. Rather than waiting it out, Clinton converted his garage into a production kitchen and began cooking ready-made meals for frontline workers.
In early 2022, the business found its home at Chatham Place retirement village in Northfield, and it’s grown steadily ever since.
BistroB31 is Clinton’s vision brought to life – a place where exceptional dining meets genuine hospitality, where every plate tells a story, and where you’re not just a customer, you’re a most welcome guest.
